EPIC’s Underground Sounds is bringing you the dopest tracks that you’ve probably never heard before.
First up is FreeFall, an upcoming 20 year old producer/DJ hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. Producing all things bass related, FreeFall has been killing it lately with releases on Temple Music Group and Datsik’s Firepower Records.
Although he likes to specialize in bass music, he claims to not conform to any certain genre, as he likes to experiment in all types of electronic music. FreeFall has had the privilege to open and support many of the industries leading producers such as, Dillon Francis, Cookie Monsta, Dieselboy, Antiserum, Tritonal, Kill The Noise, Skism, Crizzly, and many more. Keep an eye on FreeFall, as big things are expected and in store for this young producer.

If this is the first time you heard BASEHEAD‘s name, it will surely not be your last. BASEHEAD delivers nothing but hard-hitting tunes that tear up the dance floor. Gutter level filthiness saturates his complex sawtooth bass lines, as BASEHEAD sticks to no boundaries in his production. Drop after drop his beautiful synths, intricately layered with heavy gritty bass, deliver face melting beats that destroy sets. BASEHEAD is no stranger to the Beatport charts, as his most recent release “iRock” from Elektroshok Records dominated the Beatport Top 10 Breaks Charts for over almost over 4 weeks, as well as earned play on the San Francisco bay area radio station WILD94.9′s late night EDM show headed up by world famous DJ/Producer DJ Kue.
In February 2012, his remix of “Square Shaped Circles” also climbed the breaks charts for roughly 3 weeks, and is an electro break favorite of many DJs. 2012 has been a huge year for this artist, with releases on hard-hitting labels such as Bugeyed Records, Elektroshok Records, and ODN Records, ranging in genres from electro, breaks and dubstep. As of late, his tracks have been receiving support from artists such as The Crystal Method, Electric Soulside, The Destroyers, Kid Panel, Bioblitz, Peep’Tom, DJ Denise, Forest Green, Ethan Miller, and many more Keep your ears pealed for releases scheduled to come out through the end of 2012. The momentum is only getting stronger, and this young studio beast has no intention of slowing down…
Here is his most recent remix. It quickly became our favorite
Next up is Audiopunks, a legit duo from Wolverhampton, UK that specializes in break beat, speed garage, old school garage, jacking house, electro, and anything that will get the dance floor rocking. We really like their remix of “Big Hoops” by Nelly Furtado because it delivers pump basslines and catchy vocals.
Getting recognition from some of the biggest names in the industry and releasing twice on Firepower Records, DKS is blowing up in the UK bass scene. DKS is a master of melodic synths, blending dark vibes with clean uplifting bass. At the age of 19, this kid is unstoppable. Follow his tunes on Soundcloud.
