Matthew Whitlock
Owner/Founder
Matthew Whitlock is the owner of EPIC Productions. Matt graduated Chico State in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Design, with an option in Media Arts. Before being involved with EPIC Productions, Matt successfully ran and operated his own eBay consignment business grossing over $250,000 in sales. Currently residing in Berkeley, California, Matt splits his time between running EPIC Productions, working at Ruby Skye (manager of TORQ) and DJ’ing part time.
Shawn Steele
Owner/Founder
Shawn Steele is the owner of EPIC Productions. Shawn graduated Chico State in 2012 with a Bachelor of Recreation degree in Event Management, with an option in Music/Marketing. Shawn has an innate ability to apply his vast amount of knowledge to the creation and development of festivals, events and conferences. Shawn currently resides in San Francisco, California and enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding and DJ’ing in his free time.
Russ Gomery
Vice President
Russ Gomery is the Vice Present of EPIC Productions. Russ graduated Chico State in 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. Russ managed multiple small businesses/clubs while in high school and Collage. He is a currently an active member of Mensa. Russ was drawn to EPIC Productions by his passion for EDM music. Russ currently resides in Chico/San Francisco and enjoys skydiving, skiing and ice climbing.
Riley Wells & Ryan Grennan
Street Team Manager
Riley Wells and Ryan Grennan manage the EPIC Productions street team in Chico, CA. Both Riley and Ryan produce and DJ in their spare time, and will be graduating from Chico State in 2013.
Caroline Cantrall
Public Relations Manager/Blog Editor
Caroline Cantrall is a street team member and lead blogger for EPIC Productions. Caroline attends Chico State and is studying public relations and music. She is also a writer for INTO THE AM, another production/promotion company that is based in SoCal. She wants to work in the EDM industry, but for now is just doing what she loves; attending events and writing about them.

Joycemarie Cabrera is a street team member and social media consultant for EPIC Productions.
Andy Fox
Street Team/Resident DJ
Andy Fox is a street team member, videographer, and resident DJ for Epic Productions. Andy will be graduating from Chico State this spring with a degree in Media Arts and will pursue a career in sound design and audio in media. He enjoys snowboarding and music production so keep an eye out for his original tracks.
