Audio on the Bay: Five Must See Acts
The Craneway Pavillion in the San Francisco Bay Area will be home to thousands of music lovers on Jan 14-15 for Insomniac Events, Audio on the Bay. This will be the fourth year Audio on the Bay has returned, with each previous year selling out. The massive warehouse provides an ideal setting for the high energy event which has sold out the three previous years it has been held. This year will incorporate the best in bass and house music, as well as a state-of-the-art stage design, and mind blowing visuals.
The lineup for Audio on the Bay this year is EPIC, ranging from all genres of music, proving a little something for everyone. Although it was challenging, with this years lineup as one of our favorites, we managed to pick our Top 5 Must See Acts. Read below, and let us know who you're most excited for in the comments!
- Laidback Luke: Not only is LBL one of the most humble humans in the dance music world, he is also an insane artist. Time after time, Laidback Luke never ceases to disappoint and always puts on a memorable show. We're excited for LBL to bring his unique energy to the massive warehouse in January.
- Jaykode: Jaykode is a rising name in the dance music scene and 2017 is sure to be a huge year for him. With releases on Ultra Records, Fool's Gold Records, Buygore, and more Jaykodes massive list of original tracks and remixes demonstrate his skill as an artist. On stage, Jaykode captivates fans time after time and we know Audio on the Bay will be no different.
- Mija: Female powerhouse, Mija, who has gained the support from Skrillex and many other noteable acts in the dance music scene is sure to steal the show. Mija is known for breaking genre barriers, and bringing a whole lot of groove to her sets. With releases on OWSLA, and collabs with many artists Mija is definitely a must see act at Audio on the Bay.
- Alison Wonderland: Sundays lienup also blesses fans with Alison Wonderland. Her name lives up to her sets, providing those who dare to go down the rabbit hole with her, a curated set unlike any other. Alison Wonderland boasts and killer vibe, and an open mind when she graces the decks. More beats, and more dancing, is sure to come from her set.
- Ookay: Known for his stellar single, Thief, Ookay is our 5th must see act of the weekend. Beyond his outrageous success of Thief, Ookay has done nothing but challenge himself and succeed with his releases following. In addition, the young California based artist has been gaining fans with shows across the globe,
