Northern Nights Music Festival is a weekend long celebration that brings together attendees from all around the globe, connecting them together to celebrate music, art, food, culture and love.
The festival itself is also known for the charitable donations to local non-profits and schools in Southern Hubboldt and Northern Mendocino. Last year was the second annual festival, which brought a variety of music, yoga and workshops to the local area offering opportunities for local businesses and non-profits to raise funs and give proceeds from all ticket sales to these local schools.
The organizers of Northern Nights Music Festival also just recently received "A Greener Festival" award, a world renowned accomplishment which is aimed to encourage festival organizers and attendees around the globe to make the best decision to minimize their event's environmental impact and to share the message of sustainability and importance of the environment.
Northern Nights Music Festival looks forward to bringing back festival goers this summer to the Redwoods, hoping to make this year's event the best yet. The festival promoters will also continue their involvement in the community, creating a path to a green festival focused on sustainability.
