One Tribe: New California Festival Drops Stacked Lineup

Without a doubt, California is one of the best places in the United States to throw an outdoor music festival. With the weather never really taking us by surprise, those who reside here (and also those who come to get a taste of what it’s about) are free to thrive at these events all-year-round. What’s a “festival season”?

This September, another festival will be sprouting from California soil, and its lineup and prime location has me questioning, Where did you come from, One Tribe?

ID&T, the Dutch company that is responsible for some of the most talked about festivals today, are the ones behind this beautiful madness. From creating events like Tomorrowland, Sensation, Mysteryland, and TomorrowWorld, they are now venturing to the western U.S. to plant a techno-rich seed into the festival scene. This 5-stage music festival will take place over the course of two days, September 25-26. Each of the stages are hosted by different labels, companies, or persons, so there’s bound to be some interesting personalization within each stage. Beatport will be hosting it’s own stage with Kygo, Gramatik, Damian Lazarus & the Ancient Moons, and more. Paradise, a party that comes straight from the underground of Ibiza, will be having sets by the stage host and DJ/Producer, Jamie Jones, Guy Gerber, Guti (live), and even more TBA. Damian Lazarus’ label, Crosstown Rebels, will be presenting “Get Lost”.

Sets by Skream, Lee Burridge, Francesca Lombardo (live), and back to backs by Davi and Dj Harvey, and also Damian Lazarus and Carl Craig are booked to rock the stage. Spring Awakenings festival will be having its own stage as well, with Matador (live), KiNK, andhim, and more. The B3 Westcoast Legends stage will include sets by Jason Blakemore, Marques Wyatt, Mark Farina, and a few back to backs by some major legends. The final stage included in the lineup announcement, titled “The Friday Night Camping Experience” will be hosted by the lovely Desert Hearts crew, and also contain sets by Dimond Saints and Pumpkin.

These stages will all be a massive hit with the artists set to play already, but the environment that one will get to experience this music in is a whole different beautiful creation on its own. The Lake Perris State Recreation Area will be home to this new California festival, and being surrounded by a gorgeous lake is definitely combing two phenomenal aspects of life: Music and Nature.

With so much incredible talent on this lineup, ID&T proves that this festival will definitely give us a taste of what they do best in other parts of the globe. Tickets will be going on sale on Monday, May 18th, at 10:00 AM PST and will have a few different camping options for you to go along with your ticket. See you there!
