In addition to his remix of Passion Pit’s Sleepyhead at Ultra Singapore 2016, Jauz just released a huge remix of Closer. The song by The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey released on July 29th has seen a huge success, reaching number one on the Billboard’s Top 100 chart and staying there for three consecutive weeks as well as holding spots on over 15 charts. It has also been a hit with other DJs, resulting in countless remixes, notable ones being remixes from Slushii, GhostDragon and many more. Jauz posted his release announcement on Facebook, noting that he was “late to the party” when it came to remixing this hit single. The timing of his release does not take away from the effect. Jauz is no amateur when it comes to future house remixes, he put a sick spin on Childish Gambino’s 3005 and recently his take on Sleepyhead. His version of Closer is sped up with tons of bounce and familiar bass drops. Since his post on September 19th announcing the remix his track has already been played over 200,000 times and has over 10,000 reposts.

The LA based DJ has been hard at work, over the past two months he has released a bunch of original tracks like Shark Attack, For U and Goodiez.
