Northern Nights Music Festival: 2016 Recap

As Northern Nights Music Festival(NNMF) celebrated its four year anniversary along the Eel River on the Humboldt/Mendocino County Line, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome. Attendees who have been all four years stated they now feel like “seniors in high school”, being able to grow, as the festival grows. Except NNMF isn’t like your typical high school in many ways. Northern Nights celebrates inclusion, diversity, and overall love for the earth, each other, and of course the music.

What started out as a small boutique festival in Northern California has grown in size, love, and talent. Festival go-ers both new and old were blessed with multiple surprises this year at NNMF. The grounds of the festival expanded to not only allow more attendees into the festival, but to allow room for a GIANT Silent Disco that was packed until sunrise each day. The Silent Disco was filled with flawless sets from every artists who battled it out on channel 1 vs channel 2, as well as a surprise sunrise set from SNBRN.

Cosmopolitain Returns to Pittsburgh with Performances by VIA Artists

PITTSBURGH! We've got something exciting for yinz. Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is presenting the 10th annual Cosmopolitain Pittsburgh on Friday, July 8th at the August Wilson Center. The "sizzling soiree of all things cool" is sure to be a hot night packed full of culture. What does this include? Food. Booze. Tunes. What more could you ask for when looking to make plans to kick off the weekend?

Tickets for the event can be purchased here, and there are two options - VIP and GA. What does the royal treatment get you for $95? Samplings of plated art from the coolest restaurants and restaurant concepts around town, tastings from Wigle Whiskey, an OPEN BAR (yes, open bar) with specialty cocktails - ALL NIGHT! Don't forget complimentary parking and all the tunes GA will experience with their ticket. A GA ticket will get you music curated by some of the best in the local biz - VIA artists West Philadelphia Orchestra, Boulevards, DJ Smi, slowdanger and DJ Anthony Susan from Chocolate Boombox + two complimentary drinks and a never ending happy hour of $3 alcoholic beverages all night - and MORE! What else could Cultural Trust have in store for CosmoPGH go'ers? We'll just have to wait and find out.

Join AQUA for the 4th of July at FORT AQUA

FORT AQUA is making it's return to New England for 4th of July weekend, and AQUA wants YOU to be apart of it! It's going down in Downtown Providence at the Alex and Ani City Center on Saturday, July 2ndfrom 4-11pm (join the Facebook event for constant updates).

FORTAQUA will include performances by New England's best bands and DJs [Twalle, HYTYD, Benny Freestyles, Amy and the Engline, James and the Giants, LCB], local food vendors, cold American and local beers, all-day activities + more. The energy of the FORT AQUA festival flows from daytime lawn chair relaxation, to the nighttime special effects show - a revolutionary water show you won't see anywhere else!
