Hailing from Los Angeles, HVDES is one of the fe badass females taking over the dance music scene.. Currently attending Icon Collective, the rising star has captivated audiences at industry events like Space Yacht while constantly hustling behind the scenes in her production. HVDES blends experimental trap and house elements to create tracks that have garnished thousands of plays on Soundcloud. JayKode Set to Takeover in 2017: Exclusive Interview

Joey Khodanian, aka JayKode, has proven time after time a force to be reckoned with, and 2017 is sure to be no different. Between the announcement of his massive 2017 tour, including stops with Rezz, Valentino Khan, and Yellow Claw to lining up stellar release after release, it’s no surprise that JayKode is a must-watch in the New Year. As a classically trained pianist whose hustle is incomparable to many, JayKode has surpassed the dense and oversaturated dance music producer pool with no plans of slowing down. Coining the genre, “Classical Bass”, it’s captivating to see and hear each unique set, where his energy, history, and love for the music seeps through every note. EPIC had the opportunity to sit down with JayKode after his Audio on the Bay set to discuss all things music, and where he expects 2017 to take him.

Exclusive Interview: Prismo

This week I was fortunate enough to get in contact with an up and coming trap/bass superstar known as Prismo. For those of you who don’t know, Zack Burgett (A.K.A. Prismo) is a young producer hailing from Houston, Texas. With-in the past two years, Prismo has released music on Firepower Records, Monstercat, and several other huge labels. His innovative synth work and high energy sound design is what sets him apart from others and has gained him recognition in the EDM world. 2016 was a huge year for him but 2017, as he explains, will be even bigger.
