Das Energi Festival: What to Expect in Salt Lake City

das As a California native, to say that I am spoiled when it comes to music festivals and shows is honestly an understatement. Living just a few miles outside of San Francisco, DJs and producers make pitstops all the time, not to mention the massive amount of Insomniac, and Hard Events that grace our presence. We also can't forget the likes of Coachella, OutsideLands, everything The Do Lab has to offer us and more. So, it's only expected that I'm a little nervous to be traveling to Utah for my first ever out of state festival(besides EDC) right? Well, Das Energi Festival - here we come.

While, it is true I'm a bit nervous for what a Utah festival has to offer but I am more eager and excited to say the least. What is better than ending the summer on a road trip with some of your best friends across three states? How about ending at a festival like Das Energi, whose lineup provides one of the best ways to end summer and kick off the school year. Even though Das Energi is only one night, the event is stacked AND affordable. Goodbye overpriced recycled lineups, and hello Utah! das1

Headlining the event is none other than electronic superstar Kaskade. After a stellar performance at Coachella, and the announcement of his 'Automatic' tour and album I am eager to see an unforgettable Kaskade set once again. What's even cooler is that Kaskade attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, so you know his appearance is personal for many, including himself. Joining Kaskade are big names including bass heavy Flux Pavilion and Seven Lions, drum and bass legend Andy C, as well as progressive and electro house DJ, Morgan Page.

Smaller names, who are still a forced to be reckoned with, include personal favorites Slander, Getter, and Nico Luminous as well as many more. One thing that I admire about Das Energi are the nine local support artists they have added to the bill, showing how much they care about the scene in Salt Lake City and Utah as a whole. With bigger stages than years past, performers, breathtaking art installations, and from what I've heard incomparable vibes, I'm excited to see what Das Energi has to offer. Online tickets are still available and I urge you to grab one and join us for a memorable night!
