Everyone knows that the best party day is the very last day of the year. After the family festivities are over, it’s time to get back to work with new resolutions and attitudes. GRiZ (Ashville, NC)

Funk master Grant, or GRiZ, is back in action for his first New Year’s Eve show. Join him for a night of good vibes and a newly released album. North Carolina can’t hold in the excitement for his visit and neither should you. This is one Michigander that is working his way up with a solid fan base, grooving tunes and the soul of an angel.

Lights All Night (Dallas & El Paso, TX)

Everything's bigger in Texas and apparently that includes their shows too. At two different venues, Lights All Night is hosting a lineup of a lifetime. Classic electronic legends like Deadmau5, Excision, RL Grime and Above & Beyond are headed down south for an unbelievable show. I don’t know about you but there is no one I would rather spend a memorable night with.

Bassnectar 360 NYE (Birmingham, AL)

We all knew this was coming and there’s a reason Lorin is selling out his biggest shows year after year. Bassnectar will be in Birmingham, Alabama for a wild night with his very loyal fan base. The venue is amazing in itself as he completely surrounds himself with crowds of roaring head bangers. It’s been a great year for Bassnectar with his permanent residency at Electric Forest, a secret show in Atlanta and a superb Halloween bash in Michigan. After such a great year, there’s a strong weather prediction for a bass front coming from the North in late December.

Pretty Lights (New Orleans, LA)

Derek Smith has left our mouths and eyes wide open as we watch in amazement countless times. Pretty Lights could not have come up with a better name. The lights are too pretty and I am always in awe at his visually exciting shows. In a city where the bars never sleep, Pretty Lights will host the most exhilarating New Year’s Eve show out there in New Orleans. Make a decision and pull the trigger on those tickets because these shows have not gone unnoticed.
