Porter & Madeon’s Animation For Shelter

The dream team collaboration of Porter Robinson and Madeon’s track Shelter was released two months ago and is still generating news. And for good reasons, since it went public the track has seen nothing but success across Spotify and SoundCloud, made an appearance on a few Billboard charts and was the perfect way to kick off Porter and Madeon’s Shelter tour. To add to that list, the highly anticipated animated short film for Shelter was just released.

Porter and Madeon knew an ordinary music video wasn’t going to cut it for their collaboration and decided an animated short film would be a better fit. The Japanese animated short was written and produced by Porter Robinson with the help of A-1 Pictures and Crunchyroll, two powerhouses in the anime industry. Being a huge fan of anime and Japanese culture, Porter found the perfect mix for his two passions. Creating everything from the characters to the plotline. The animated short has seen nothing but love and support from fans across all social media channels.
