Martin Garrix Named #1 DJ of 2016

Ever since his emergence onto the music scene four years ago, the only direction Martin Garrix has gone is up. At just 20 years old Garrix has officially been named the #1 DJ on DJ Mag’s annual Top 100 DJs poll. Not only is he the youngest DJ ever to hold this title, but he’s only been working in the music business for a mere four years. The contenders on this list are huge, just to bring to perspective how much talent this list possesses, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike got second with Hardwell coming in third. Recent news tells us that Justin Bieber will be bringing close friend and EDM superstar Martin Garrix alongside him on his upcoming Purpose Tour. The two plan to hit several cities across Australia together starting this upcoming spring.

Youngest Breakout DJs

I was sitting around the other day thinking about all the things I’ve done with my life. At the age of 19, I was pretty okay with the list that was compiled. That is until I saw an article about how old Martin Garrix is, we are pretty much the same age. One is a worldwide music sensation, and the other sometimes goes to class with her shirt on inside out.
